We assist our members to become economically independent by learning useful, marketable skills. Members have attended training courses in ceramics, painting, sandal-making, hearing aid mould manufacture, English, computer skills, sewing, cooking, wood carving and silk screening. As a result of gaining these skills, many members have received orders for their products and several members have obtained full-time positions in government or NGO offices. Our members can sell their products at the Gallery at the centre in Tampaksiring, at market days, bazaars and exhibitions that we arrange or participate in.
Kadek
Armayanti’s story is an example of how one of our members has obtained appropriate work.
